Which Job Should I choose?

Last week i had a interview at university of phoenix for a enrollment counselor position. I haven’t heard back from HR but I contacted the person who interviewed me and he said that I have been hired as far as he knows for a march training class. He will look into it tomorrow for me. The pay is 33k per year plus benefits plus i get my tuition for free. After 6 months, if i do well signing up students, i can get a 20% pay increase which is about 40k. Not bad for a 22 year old. I like this job idea alot cause im trying to finish my bachelors degree which is not to far away. Only 16 more classes to go!

Another job I was offered is to be a loan officer at a mortgage company. A normal 9 hour day five days a week job. 2k a month salary plus benefits plus i get commission on every loan I do. My supervisor said that there is no reason why I shouldn’t make over 6k a month. They supply the leads.

I wanna finish up the degree but i do like the idea of all that money,
but then again, the guy that interviewed me was in a sales position. A salesman always sells what he has.

Im leaning towards the school job because I can get my tuition for free. Its just a job, not a career.

I still have two more years to complete my bachelors in accounting from the University of Phoenix (UOP). I know that UOP is not a big name university and has a stigma of giving "A"s. Now I believe that I wasn’t one of the lucky once because most of my UOP instructors were tough and very demanding. I’m maintaining a 3.5 GPA though I wonder if it will stay this way for long.

I’m attending UOP because out of high school I had to work (my parents kicked me out on my senior year of high school for being gay and I ended up living in a homeless shelter). Yes I did graduate from high school and got a very good job within the mortgage industry as a loan officer assistant. I work between 40-50hrs/week thus night school was out the window and online learning became the only means of getting an education.

I want to attend a law school and given my hard work I believe that I should have the right to attend one given that I am in an accredited institution. Please advise. Thx
1st) I’m studying for the LSATs which I plan two years from now. 2) Because I never took the SAT do you think I should take it and submit it as well to law schools to compansate for going to UOP?—I know i have the capacity to score very high in it. IS THERE ANY TESTS I CAN TAKE IN ADDITION TO THE LSAT TO SHOW LAW SCHOOLS THAT I’M THERE MAN. Thx

Invest 50,000 in College????

Need a liitle advice from you all. I have two small children, work part time, studying for my real estate exam. I know the economy isn’t great for real estate so I signed up to get my bachelors with University of Phoenix. Should I invest 50,000 on college or should I just stay with real estate? My husband works and goes to college too.

I have a BBA in Finance and have been out of school for 5+ years now – after 2 layoffs in 2008 (commercial real estate industry) I’m considering going back to get my MBA. I’d like to hear about your experiences with online programs from actual universities (i.e. Univ. of Nebraska, Univ. of Tulsa, Florida State, etc.). I’m not considering schools like University of Phoenix or other online-only schools.

I’d like to go back to school in the physical sense, but I have a family and the time constraints make it impossible. Can I expect to gain as much from an online program as I would on campus? I know a large part of the experience is the contacts you gain from your study groups, etc. – any input?

Thanks

I’m working full time (average about 48 hours a week) and i’m taking 9 hours (which is all i can take) at a traditional university at the moment. My job is a temporary and i’m trying to finish school to have a back up plan so taking only 9 hours a semester is going to take me about 3 years to finish, which may be too long. So anyways University of Phoenix and Devry would allow me to get a degree a lot faster but i’m not sure if many employers would hire me. By the way I want to obtain a degree in Finance or Information Technology. And pursue a career as a Real Estate Broker, Loan Originator/Officer, Financial Advisor, or Database Manager.
