New Z06 vette stuck in the field ??????

My car was stolen from a parking building in phoenix. The police called me, they found it. I showed up and seen it in the field signed for it from the police. The police found it on a Indian reservation. It looked like they were doing over 150 (said police) It is 300ft out in a field of mud. I called a tow truck, but pulling on it makes it sink and dig up mud (just goes deeper) the tow truck guy gave up. I called my insurance, they said I already signed the property release so it is my problem. The farmer said the feild will be flooded for another 2 months. Unless I want to buy his crop? How do I get my car out?????
It is my fault. I dont want to bad mouth the insurance co. The police wouldve towed it out somehow, if not on a Indian reservation. Weird laws regarding stolen property and a reservation. But, your help is appreciated. It has been there acouple of days. I called a crane co. But, that would cost me 7000 . Any more ideas? need to get it quick. thx.

From late 2008 to the middle of 2009, Vancouver had a serious gang violence problem. People were getting shot at a rapid pace, and the city already had 14 homicides from January to June (it normally has around 15 or 16 all year).

After that, Canadian LEOs from Vancouver, the provincial government of BC, and the federal government all began to coordinate their investigations at a single integrated anti-gang violence center.

The results were dramatic and immediate – dozens of arrests were made, property and drugs and weapons were confiscated, and Vancouver finished 2009 with a total of 19 homicides.

So far in 2010, it only has six homicides. That’s actually a little below normal.

Should American LEOs from violent cities like Chicago, Phoenix, Baltimore or New Orleans visit Vancouver, and learn how to do some real, successful policing?

My plates and registration where suspended on an "inoperable" but registered vehicle I own.

Phoenix, or maybe the whole of Arizona, requires me to have current registration on all vehicles, running or not, located on my property if they can be seen from the street. And yet, the DMV (or MVD as it’s called here) suspended my plates and registration on one of the inoperable vehicles I own for lack of insurance coverage on said vehicle.

Am I required to insure inoperable vehicles? Furthermore, am I required to declare a vehicle as inoperable with the DMV or my insurance company? Is there a special type of registration required that I did not know about?

i met this old guy who lives downtown (phoenix) he has this cool old house he has lived in for years and years and years, its a little dilapidated but not an eyesore or anything its a cool historic house, anyway so the city and a developer are trying to force him off the property, they have already torn down all the other houses on that street and the next street over creating a LARGE open area that they can build a highrise on, basically all they need is his little lot.
so far they have not been able to budge him but they try to fine him all the time for everything they can, even like leaving his trash can out, (hes 79 years old and disabled!) he has no money and just wants them to leave him alone.
can they MAKE him leave eventually? if so how? like what law does it fall under?
im trying to help this guy by doing his yard work and im going to paint his house so they will not keep fining him but i would like to find a way to make the city leave him alone!

Lets see. I am a college grad from a University in Arizona.
Currently work in sales where I manage few routes, but now looking to get my CDL, I can make more money that way at least ,000 a year to star at my company. Went back to college part time in order to try to get in pharamcy School next.

Enjoy hiking in the desert, dining out( Applebee’s has an awsome happy hour) driving to So Cal beaches. After all my beachfront property doesn’t have an ocean or a pool. LOL

Going to Univ. of Phoenix Stadium to see the Cardinals lose. LOL.

Watching the Arizona sunsets, best in the world.

Phoenix

We have them here in Phoenix where I now live, which has some of the worst drivers in the nation.

I personally think they are a wonderful idea and we need more and more these cameras covering our highways. The fines are steep. My roommate was recently going 15 MPH over the posted limit in a construction zone, and got hit with a 5 fine. It’s great to see a car zooming by me at breakneck speed, and seeing that camera flash. Boom – that driver’s gonna get 5 ticket in their mailbox.

While Phoenix has mostly horrible drivers, in fairness most (if not all) people aren’t interested in obeying the speed limit, and don’t care if they cause property damage or hit a pedestrian. These folks need to be whipped into shape with a big fat fine. Putting up signs that say "Speed Limit 55" are interpreted as mere suggestions.

A lot of people bitterly oppose these cameras, saying they’re Orwellian. But, in reality, aren’t the only people who oppose these cameras just people who don’t want to obey the speed limits and keep our highways safe? These cameras are not meant as a form of entrapment, otherwise there wouldn’t be signs that say "Speed Enforcement Zone 300 Yards Ahead" warning drivers that they’re on Candid Camera.

After all, there’s a very easy way to avoid getting a ticket. It’s called "obeying the speed limit". ;-)

Is this Threatening the Sheriff by placing his address on Facebook and encouraging people to do harm to his property or to him is this a crime ? Now Under Arizona Statute: 13-2921. Harassment; classification; definition
Anonymously or otherwise contacts, communicates or causes a communication with another person by verbal, electronic, mechanical, telegraphic, telephonic or written means in a manner that harasses.
Repeatedly commits an act or acts that harass another person.

Surveils or causes another person to surveil a person for no legitimate purpose.

E. For the purposes of this section, “harassment” means conduct that is directed at a specific person and that would cause a reasonable person to be seriously alarmed, annoyed or harassed and the conduct in fact seriously alarms, annoys or harasses the person.
…….PHOENIX – A new Facebook group created to remove Sheriff Joe Arpaio from power has been the cause of controversy after one of the page’s members posted the location of the Sheriff’s home.

The group, which has grown to over 8,000 members in a single week, includes commentary about Arpaio, pictures taken from protests and information about future demonstrations. One of the latest posts, however, included a map to the Sheriff’s home in Fountain Hills and a satellite picture of the property.

TV showed the images to Arpaio, who expressed concern about publicizing such information.

"I think they have some motive," Arpaio said. "I don’t think they’re selling tours to my house."

The group was created by Devin Fleenor, who was inspired by an anti-Arpaio protest last weekend. He said the goal of the group was to unite voters against Arpaio, rather than encourage violence.

"Like him or not, I don’t think (talk of violence against the Sheriff) is going to help our cause," Fleenor said, explaining that it would only be fuel for Arpaio supporters.

Sheriff Arpaio says threats against him are increasing, and he told his security detail about the posting.

Fleenor, however, says he has been deleting references to violence against Arpaio, and he has taken down the map to his house.

What do U think ?????????????????????????

I think frustration set in, because, the Lakers got embarrased on their home court for most of the second half by Phoenix. It was pretty unusual to see a public spat like that, because Kobe has matured and mellowed a bit over the years, and he and Phil seem to have a very workable relationship.

We are moving to the East Valley of Phoenix later this summer. My teen is incredibly involved in a youth group that is very active, spontaneous and close where we are in the midwest. We are looking for something similar in the Gilbert, Queen Creek, Chandler, Mesa Tempe area.

We are looking for something very Spirit led, Evangelical and dynamic. Any ideas are so appreciated. A good home church is going to make all the difference in making a smooth transition for her.

Thanks,
Holly
