I am going to be a mom, and I am looking into at-home work, but most of what I am finding appears to be Pyramid Schemes and weird Christian Cult groups. Is there anyplace I can search for LEGITIMATE work I can do from home? I live in the Phoenix AZ area.

I have no car and I am just trying to get home to my mom, whom I just found out is very sick, as soon as possible!! But i have a full grown lab mix that i have to take with me… As far as i know greyhound doesnt take anything but assistant dogs… Is there a train or maybe a one way flight that will only cost me around 0 bucks?

I would like to find a place that will deliver a hot meal that is good. When I say good I mean not "Red Lobster" or "On the Border". I would like to send a nice meal home to my mom and aunt who don’t know how to drive to restaurants throughout Phoenix. Any type of food I’m open too. Thanks!

it’s a conflict. my mom says no corgi until we move into a house from our current apartment, either summer 07 or 08, depending on house prices in Phoenix over the summer. i figure that I’m a very responsible person, and because a corgi is a small dog, I can keep one in an apartment. Even better, our apartment is very clean, and we are always getting compliments on that. it’s a very nice sized apartment, a two bedroom, but the bedrooms are the size a medium-large living room. I think it’s a very nice place to have a dog, and honestly, our next door neighbor has a rottweiler and a boxer. I would really like to know if i was right or wrong.

It’s the holidays and like most Mom’s, I need help with babysitting so I can go shopping. I’m, 2,000 miles removed from family and friends, but unless everyone on my list wants something from IKEA (or the grocery store) I don’t know how to find out what stores or malls in Phoenix, AZ offer child care while you shop. Anyone know of some places that have in house child care?

My mom has a 1.5 acre parcel. It is in Arizona, east of Phoenix, and has an awesome view of the valley. She bought it for around 0K. She wants to have me build on the property and then sell the property and we split the profits. She can’t afford to build by herself. I have no idea how I might do this, and I’m also a little worried about the housing market. Any ideas or suggestions? Is this a bad idea generally? How would we write up the agreement?

My dad passed away and I’ll be coming into a small chunk of money. I had 20k deposited into a trustee IRA, which I can take out at any time, I just have to pay income taxes on it. It was just deposited this week and the lady at my bank wants me to put into investment portfolios. (she said aggressive because I am so young) I am getting another 20k from my mom in a few months which I don’t have to pay taxes on. I have about 19k in debt between my car and credit card which I know I need to pay off first. My questions are the following…
What is the best way for me to invest this money after I pay off my debts? Is it real estate? I live in Phoenix, Az so should I buy a little condo or something? Or should I invest it somewhere else? Stocks? Get a roth IRA? What do you suggest?
Forgive me if I sound ignorant. I didn’t think I would actually have money to invest so haven’t paid attention to these things like I should have. Thanks for the suggestions!!
