Guide to Phoenix Houses
thinking about taking a job in Phoenix, what’s it like? how much are homes and apartments? what’s there to do? is it a good place for 20 somethings?
I am sick of living in Lansing,MI and I have noticed that apartments are incredibly cheap in Phoenix area right now. I have lived there previously and liked it but came home to deal with some family issues. My question is would it be a wise move during this recession?
I would like to know how to get into doing house repair before the houses/apartments are rented or put up for sale. I dont know if I have to go through a property management company or what. Any ideas or any help will be appreciated. I am located in phoenix Arizona. Thanks in advance.
Renting an apartment is something that most people have to do at some point, especially now that the price of a home is out of the reach of most young people who are just starting their career. My husband and I would like to move to phoenix Arizona within the next year and half or two years. Is it worth living there? Is the cost of living expensive? How is the housing there? Do more people live in apartments or in regular houses? Are the schools there good? What about churches? We also need a great Non-denominational or baptist church. Any suggestions, advice, etc welcome ![]()
oh yeah, sorry for all the questions, but we are from central Pennsylvania and don’t know much about the area. Details , please ![]()
I live in NJ right now, and I’m making plans to moving to Phoenix. But I’ve been hearing that each town has good housing as far as apartments to live in, such as Goodyear, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, or Scottsdale. I work for Dell as a System Engineer, and an IT job down there would be great. So which town has the best community, cheap housing, places to shop; malls, groceries, etc.? And is the job market getting better in certain areas?
I’m just looking for a rough estimate of the different outlaying cities. Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa are the only ones I know. What are rental prices like for houses, or apartments? What about buying a house? Which suburbs are the nicest? Also, what are gas prices like down there? Food prices? My hubby is talking about maybe moving down there, I’m just wondering how different it will be from where we are.
