who golfs during oil spills? Who sings, “Hey Jude,” with l McCartney (of Britain) while the Gulf is suffering the worst environmental catastrophe in U.S. history?
Who is not worried about securing the borders when illegal foreign invaders from Mexico, Poland, the Middle East, Pakistan, violent drug cartels, and Hamas terrorists are doing the Conga line into Arizona as the first leg of their U.S. tour. Phoenix is now the #2 top kidnapping capital of the world, its police officers and residents are being threatened, and people are afraid for their lives and property ?
Who could declare the U.S. Constitution unconstitutional ?

MEXICO CITY – It’s one of the safest parts of America, and it’s getting safer.

It’s the U.S.-Mexico border, and even as politicians say more federal troops are needed to fight rising violence, government data obtained by The Associated Press show it actually isn’t so dangerous after all.

The top four big cities in America with the lowest rates of violent crime are all in border states: San Diego, Phoenix, El Paso and Austin, according to a new FBI report. And an in-house Customs and Border Protection report shows that Border Patrol agents face far less danger than street cops in most U.S. cities.

The Customs and Border Protection study, obtained with a Freedom of Information Act request, shows 3 percent of Border Patrol agents and officers were assaulted last year, mostly when assailants threw rocks at them. That compares with 11 percent of police officers and sheriff’s deputies assaulted during the same period, usually with guns or knives.

In addition, violent attacks against agents declined in 2009 along most of the border for the first time in seven years. So far this year assaults are slightly up, but data is incomplete.

"The border is safer now than it’s ever been," said U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Lloyd Easterling.

He said one factor is that with fewer jobs available amid the U.S. recession, illegal immigration has dropped. And responding to security concerns after 9-11, the Border Patrol has doubled the number of agents in the region since 2004.

Nonetheless, border lawmakers and governors say their region is under siege and needs more troops.

"Violence in the vicinity of the U.S.-Mexico border continues to increase at an alarming rate. We believe that this violence represents a serious threat to the national security of the United States as well as a serious threat to U.S. citizens that live along the 1,969-mile long border," a dozen bipartisan members of Congress from border states wrote President Obama.

In Arizona, a stringent new immigration law takes effect next month, requiring police to question suspects’ immigration status if officers believe they’re in the country illegally. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said in a televised interview last weekend: "We are out here on the battlefield getting the impact of all this illegal immigration, and all the crime that comes with it."

In response to the concerns from the border states, Obama pledged to send 1,200 National Guard troops to help and spend an extra 0 million on border security.

His one-time rival for the presidency, Arizona Sen. John McCain, said he should send at least 6,000 troops, which are needed because he said Arizona leads the nation in marijuana seizures, suffered 368 kidnappings in 2008 and has the highest property crime rates in the U.S.

But FBI crime reports for 2009 says violent crime in Arizona declined. And violent crimes in southwest border counties are among the lowest in the nation per capita — they’ve dropped by more than 30 percent in the last two decades. Of America’s 25 largest cities, San Diego — with one out of four residents an immigrant — has the lowest number of violent crimes per capita.

Opponents of increased border security are frustrated by descriptions of a wave of violence when the statistics show the region to be relatively safe.

"Politicians are hyping up this incredible fear across the country about the border, but these numbers show these are lies being perpetrated on the American public," said immigrant advocate Isabel Garcia at Tucson-based Derechos Humanos. "The warnings about violence are just an excuse to crack down on migrants who want to work and be with their families."

Even residents of the border region who want more security are surprised by the talk of violence.

"I have to say, a lot of this is way overblown," said Gary Brasher of Tuboc, Arizona, who is president of the Coalition for a Safe and Secure Border.

So why send troops to the region?

Do you agree with him?

Watch the video it is educational.
Do you agree with what he is saying?
Is the border as secure as she is saying or is it more lies since Americans are in danger?
Should the Guards be placed on the border at this time as he requests?

Tom Tancredo Calls For Napolitano To Resign, Troops On The Border [Video]
By Digger

Tom Tancredo has just released a new video discussing the current state of our borders, the killing of Rob Krentz, calling for Janet Napolitano to resign and for National Guard and troops along our border.

Tancredo’s argument of troops along our border may sound ridiculous to some, but his proposal is actually quite logical. He is calling for killing two birds with one stone. Not just troops along our border, but to use our border as a training ground for our military. That way the border would be secure and our troops would get experience working in terrain that is very similar in nature to what they would face in our current combat zones overseas.

As for Napolitano, everyone knows she is incompetent. I mean come on she was governor of Arizona where tons of illegal aliens swarmed into her state, made Phoenix the Kidnap Capital of the Country and allowed her citiznes to be beaten robbed and killed – all under her watch. She did such a good job at putting America at risk that the Obama Administration decided she should put in charge of security for the entire nation.

This is all outrageous and in the video below Tancredo is the most common sense voice on the issue of border security and the anger that most in the nation have to the killing of a good man on his own property that has been in his family for generations.

I agree with what he said about her and about illegals. He is not racist. He speaks the truth, tony.

Shouldn't we be supporting Sheriff Joe Arapio?

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is head of the Maricopa Country Arizona District. There are a lot of illegal aliens being deported from that area, and they want his head for running them out of town. But that is not what is happening: Sheriff Joe is running criminals out of town.

Go to.. Illegal Immigration Crime Report

http://www.maricopacountyattorney.org/

The index is right there, but a peek at the data, which is specifically correct, is as follows. Keep in mind, the illegal aliens are only 9% of the population in that area. …9%….

On October 2nd, the Maricopa County Arizona District Arizona District Attorney’s office released crime statistics that prove this point. Overall, while illegals represent only 9% of the population in Maricopa County (including Phoenix, which until recently, was a sanctuary city) they are responsible for approximately 22% of the crimes committed. Here is a breakdown of statistics by crime category. Illegal aliens account for:

*33.5% of those sentenced for the manufacture, sale or transport of drugs.
*35.8% of those sentenced for kidnapping.
*20.3% of those sentenced for felony D.U.I.
*16.5% of those sentenced for violent crimes.
*18.5% of those sentenced for property crimes.
*44 of those sentenced for forgery and fraud.
*85.3% of those convicted of criminal impersonation or false ID.
*96% of those convicted of human smuggling.

Shouldn’t we be avidly supporting Sheriff Joe Arapio???
The Dopers are using his town as a major narcotics avenue. There is a LOT of money trying to run him out of town. Do we want that?
The same guy that pulls people over for being brown, the same guy that cost Arizona tax payers millions, the same guy that segregates the Mexicans in his jail?

This very badly needs links, or it becomes simple bigotry. Research him, and while there are endless accusations, nothing shows that suggests the anti posts are correct. If they are correct.. I wouldn’t support him either. I don’t think they are.

Is FEMA my(our) friend?

A usually quiet U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Cemetery, has been unusually active lately. The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona is a beautiful 225 acre facility located in Phoenix.

For the past 30-45 days in the early hours of the morning until sunset, a massive construction operation has been underway. Major amounts of earth have been excavated out about 9-10 feet deep and 600-1000 feet wide. There is multiple locations on the property like this. From the satellite view there appears to be more sections that have been covered with the concrete lids and backfilled to look as if nothing is there. ABC rock is put in place under the burial vaults for good drainage and solid bedding. This will help not contaminate ground water sources from decomposition of human bodies.

The cleanliness of the heavy equipment operation and the large perfect cuts of earth is im pressive. These Massive concrete boxes are transported from a nearby storage yard on various privately owned flatbed semi-trucks, then unloaded and put into place a half mile away at the actual mass grave site. They are installed tight together side by side with no space in between.

An interview was conducted between my friend and a truck driver involved in this operation. After beating around the bush for ten minutes, the driver admitted “ I got paid a whole lot of money to speak good english.” Take it for what it’s worth but that sounds suspect. The truck driver also admitted “Each burial vault holds four caskets.”
I took note that if caskets were not used you could fit 40 bodies or more in each one.

So if these were to hold four troops each and the truck driver did know what he was talking about; this would mean that there are plans in advance for over 4000 U.S. soldiers deaths.

If these are not to contain caskets and only bodies are inserted there could be room for over 40,000 civilians bodies.

Editor’s note: On February 11, 2009, D. H. Williams, writing for the Daily Newscaster, reported on the revelations of an Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago who revealed how FEMA and DHS were attempting to prepare “county officials to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan to deal with flooding, fires, high winds and tornadoes.”

“FEMA inquired to where mass graves could be placed in the county and would they accept bodies from elsewhere,” writes Williams.

I tried looking at the major online colleges such as Kaplan, University of Phoenix, and Devry, but I couldn’t find any that offered Appraisal courses. Unless if the courses aren’t named under appraisal? But please don’t tell me to Google it, because i did and all that came up were these small websites that looked like it was a scam waiting to happen. I want an online college that i can trust. Thanks

we live in the lansing michigan area…we pay 5 a month for our heat and water to be "included"…the 6 unit building has a boiler that pushes the steam to the radiators…at times it gets over 90 degrees in our place…all the 6 units get extremely hot as well…we have to have our window open even in the middle of the night when it is -28 degrees to get the heat down to 79 degrees…the landlord will not do anything about it and tell us that we are lying…well, a few times this winter season the radiators will be off for 2-3 days making it very cold in here…i can’t prove it, but i think the "slumlord" gets tired of people saying it is too hot in here and comes and just shuts of the boiler to "teach us a lesson!?!?"…well, we woke up yesterday and our little thermometer we bought said it was 44 degrees in the apartment…i was on my last straw…there are no agencies in this area to help the tennent…i called the fire dept to talk to the building inspecters…they said they could send him a letter to keep the minimum temp to 68…well, that would take days and that wouldn’t mean the landlord would still take care of it…as a last resort i called the city police dpt…they sent an officer…at first he told me that it was a civil matter…i told him everything and he decided to do something…he called the people he knew at the fire dpt/inspectors…they agreed to call the landlord…they basicly told him that he will have to maintain the minimum temp, or they will start writting him tickets for whatever violations that come up on the property…wow!!!…well, the landlord of course got the heat going, but now it is back to 90 degrees in here…i was alread told by the inspectors that there is nothing in the books about the temp being too hot in a apartment in michigan…so it could be 115 degrees in here and the landlord is ok as far as the law goes…ok-my question is if there is anything we can do to get the heat down due to health reasons?…i have uncontrollable high blood pressure for which i am on meds for…when i am in very uncomfortable heat it sky rockets…(i moved back to michigan from phoenix arizona to be in a cooler climate)…do i just have to risk a stroke and heart attack and just feel sick all the time?…it seems like there is something that can be done!?!?…
the first answer i get is "move out"…lol…so break the lease?…ruin our credit?…be out of luck for all the money it costs to get into a new place-deposits, utilities, moving expenses, lose out on the money we spent fixing the place up for a few months of living here?…tell me this-how does one come up with all the money for a move to a new place a few months later when all the money we had went to this move just a few months ago…come on now…why do people on here give stupid short answers?…is it to get more points?…can’t you be a competetive point gatherer some place else…i think this is a forum that should be a place for people to help each other…please stop with the childish bull stinking crap!!!…

Listing Agent Not cooperative?

My sister was appointed trustee of a family trust by my mother (82, California). Currently, my mother is visiting here in Arizona. She has asked me to assist her to regain control over her assets (if any remain). From what I understand, my mother’s home was removed from the trust and put on the market for sale. In addition, my mother had approximately one million dollars in cash deposits. According to my mother, she has no money for expense or daily use. I purchased her airfare and she is asking me to help her unravel this matter. I first contacted the listing real estate agent who was not helpful. My sister does not take calls. My mother’s appearance suggests less than great grooming, health, and [possibly] necessary medical attention. I have been contacting (or attempting) every person, entity, office and agency I can think of. I have made little to zero progress this far. When, on occasion, I do make contact with someone who I think may be able to assist in any fashion, I hear the exact same word: "CIVIL" It may in fact be true that the only remedy for my mother is to hire an attorney to stop the sale of her home and hopefully learn if she has any money left. If I had the fund and the experience, certainly, I would move forward, However, that is not the case at the moment.. I need to find a solution and I need to tell my mother something, fairly soon. I just don’t know what that is going to be. Is there any information that I can obtain through this site? Thank you, David Duke, Phoenix, Arizona 602.391.1962

I live in Phoenix AZ and I am currently taking my pre licensing classes and need to obtain a part time job. I really would love to find a brokerage that would put me to work now, even if it was just to be a assistant or just general office duties until I receive me certification. I really would appreciate any feed back from anyone familiar with or, currently working in the real estate profession. Thanks in advance!

Bucking rearing and bolting?

Okay… So I was riding him the other day after I lunged him… Me and my riding partner were riding the horses down a dirt road to get to a big field about a mile away. It is the first time we have taken either of them of THEIR property. And the whole time we were on this dirt road everything went pretty well until, we got to the pasture. We were trotting here and their and I got into a canter a few times. My riding partner then aked me "So do you want to canter up this hill first or me?" I said "Ya, you go first". and so she cantered up the hill. As soon as she got to the top my horse whirled and took off RUNNING up the hill, and he was bucking… Its hard enough to stay on running but when bucking is involved in a dead run its hard to stay on so… I fell off. As soon as I hit the ground I looked at him running off and I thought "Oh no!!!! He is going to run home on the road!!!" but he ran about 30 yards stopped and started eating grass. Just like that. I walked over to him and walked him around for a sec. and then hopped back on. We rode around the pasture for awhile and then went back home. I am guessing SOME but now ALL of his bad behavior which includes NOT standing still when asked and little rearing when he doesnt want to go somewhere well I think some of the cause is hit bit. Its a Tom Thumb and he HATES it. When I ride with it he froths at the mouth and chomps on the bit the whole time! So I got him a bitlles bridle but now… I am nervous to ride with. Is he going to stop at a dead run with this? And is it safe? And how do I stop him from bucking like this? Is it his bit? I rode him with a rope halter once and he bucked then too, but not in running and bucking. He kneck reins nicely with just a rope halter on so the bitless bridle might be fine when he is walking? And one more thing, I wont hit him or slug him or slap him when he rears bucks or bolts or doesnt stand still as it makes him madder and cracking an egg over his head is like nonsense cause when he is just running its hard enough to stay on with one hand non the less cracking an egg. And running and bucking and cracking an egg? Ya right. Haha but thank everyone for all the help, in advance! ~Phoenix.

Oh P.S. How do I make him stand still when tied and in the saddle? And When he doesnt want to stop or he wants to go right and I want him to go left or vise versa, He rears, just about one foot but still, I is going to get higher and higher so how do I stop this? Thanks again.
Adding some detail: I know when a horse bucks and my riding partner was up on top of the hill watching the WHOLE thing. He was bucking and kicking out his legs. I have ran him before, fast and I know how to stay on and I KNOW what it feels like when he runs up a hill. He WAS bucking. And another thing he has had a health check and he is fine! And when I say he froths at the mouth I mean like more froth then any other horse I have seen. Also before I bought him he was really skinny, and I, stupidly rode him, but with the same gear I am riding with now and when I still didnt own him he had NO problems with this gear! When I slap him between his ears when he rears he just goes up again, but higher! So… ya xD I know for a fact that I didnt fall off cause he was running up a hill but that he was bucking and kicking his legs out. Not crow hopping. And when he whirled around with me he took off running, about 5 seconds later he started bucking so however fast he was going it was faster than
This horse is an Arabian and he runs in our field sometimes bucking with his back legs at the top or higher than the top of the fence, he can buck! And yes, I have rode him quite a bit but since I have got him I havent rode him in a field like that big before. BUT I have rode him in the same field before we got him, again he was skinny and probably didnt have as much energy, Now he has gained about 50 pounds and he is getting very… hyper.
